Pie In The Sky
Great value, tasty pies are available at this pit stop cafe on the Pacific Highway. Serving both savoury and sweet flavours, you can get everything from the traditional Steak & Kidney pie to delicious desserts like warm blueberry pie. There's also a selection of meals, sausage rolls and teas on offer.
Outdoor seating takes advantage of the picturesque views over the Hawkesbury River, so head there on a sunny day and enjoy the pleasant view and a hearty pastry.

Such a shame used to be soooooo good! I was really looking forward to a yummy meat pie and delicious apple pie but unfortunately I could hardly get through the lamb and pea pie let alone attempt the apple pie! It had no flavour was gluey and gluggy with very little meat also had a really strange after taste... The chips were also awful.. The friends I was with said their pies and sausage rolls tasted terrible as well! This place used to be so good and the apple pies weren't party pie size they were a regular meat pie size!.. I hope the new management take on all this negative feedback and do something to bring it back to how good it used to be... :-(
Waldo has gone back to Pie In The Sky for about the 100th time but alas I've got some sad news, great food and standards seem to have disappeared with a recent change of management. NOV 2011.
Arriving around noon it was noticeably quiet for a sunny warm Sunday. ...read more
I love this place - perfect for a weekend drive (which isn't far if you live on the upper North Shore or nearby). The beef burgandy pie is my favourite, but all the beef ones a pretty good as are the lamb. I'm personally not a fan of chicken pies, so I can't comment. A great range of pies available as well as other cafe food. And the fruit pies are great, especially the blueberry one!
Been lately? I'm just about to post another review and it's not going to be positive. Apparently management has changed, AGAIN!! A great eatery has disappeared...well some menu items and standards have.
