Pier Hotel

It took me a while to actually get down to this pub, but that was probably because it was so far out of the way, at least out of the way to make it easy to get to without having to resort of buses and walking. Then again, it does happen to be in the middle of the industrial area, so I should give that as a factor. As a pub though it was okay, but nothing particularly fantastic. It did have a nice atmosphere, and a couple of decent beers, but nothing really out of the ordinary.

The pier hotel is just a local pub. There’s a bar, bistro area, TAB and pokies area. We had a small function there and the finger food was really nice - pesto arancini, bruschetta, mini pulled pork sliders, spring rolls and more. We also ordered a bowl of fries. It’s recently undergone renovations so looks more inviting than previously. They are a no frills kinda bar and don’t do cocktails. There are some good daily specials and also an $80 tomohawk challenge if you’re game.
