Pier Hotel

I went there once with some friends and the food was disgusting and the staff were extremely abusive to me and my friends so we decided never to go back there again.

I have to disagree. It has got alot better since they changed it from a silly underage club but they are still often cramped, dirty and poorly staffed. I try to avoid going to the pier now because of the service.

One of the longer-term venues in Frankston with entertainment to appeal to a wide variety of people and interests.



The Pier Hotel actually consists of a gaming area and lounge as well as a local Irish pub featuring live music, karaoke Tuesdays, Guitar Hero Wednesdays and drink specials on Thursday nights.



Thursdays in Flanagans Irish bar are typically an informal "student night", with the crowd tending towards the slightly older over the rest of the weekend. The Pier proper next door provides an atm, coffe or hot chocolate and a gaming room in addition to a lounge area where patrons can sit for a quiet chat. Owned the the same company and now re-branded as "The Pier Live", the club formally known as "The 21st Century" is also next door and featues regular gigs from local and international artists.



In my opinion well worth a look for anyone who wants a good night out in the local area.
