The Pink Pig has been an integral part of O'Connell street for forever. Nothing lasts that long unless it's good - and it is. Character is at 100%, food quality is great (and so is the range - of course including pork, but also all manner of meat), drinks are probably a bit pricey but it is O'Connell street. Go for the experience - you won't regret it. If it's a weekend make sure you book though, because it is busy then.

Fantastic staff and great food. Never had a bad experience.. A+ Even when they're busy, they've always got a smile on their face and make sure your night/food is perfect..

On a quiet mid-week evening, I was hoping for a fairly quick dinner with friends. Unfortunately the Pink Pig had extremely slow service and we often had to go up to the bar to request drinks. I did not appreciate the bibs that diners are made to wear when ordering the ribs, for a restaurant that marks itself as premium, it is quiet a tacky procedure. The appetisers were tasty, albeit again very slow and the quantity of the main course was quite low considering the price charged. All in all I was disappointed by the service received in a restaurant that marks itself as premium, the food quality being the saving grace for three stars.
