Pipers By The Lake

This restaurant was alright but because it was cold, I am sure it effected my opinion.

We had an excellent dinner at Pipers By The Lake. I would recommend them to anyone looking for premium dining experience. The location is magical - looks out over Lake Wendouree and the botanical gardens.

Just about the best setting for a cafe restaurant possible, nestled between the lake and botanic gardens with the old trams rattling by. Generally lots of room for dining. The food is nice, however my experience was let down by the exclusive price tag and the slightly snobby service which I feel is bettered by other cafes and restaurants in town. The location is not really convenient either, its not really within walking distance to the heart of the city.

A lovely setting in which to catch up with a friend for a coffee and a chat, or have a group get together over lunch. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and the service is good. I look forward to my next visit.
