My partner and I visited Pip's cooking school, ready for a fun and "non-stressful" afternoon of learning about Thai cooking in a "relaxed, friendly environment", as stated on Pip's own website.Â
As soon as we arrived we saw their assistants nervously scurrying about the kitchen. This should have been our first warning that we were not in store for a pleasant experience. My partner and I plus 6 other people were given stations around a small kitchen bench and were happily chopping up ingredients in preparation for our first meal, when my partner was told in no uncertain terms by them "You're too slow.
