Sadly that’s how I was made to feel when I came to pick up 2 x Boys bikes ( Christmas presents ) that I had pre-ordered & deposit made with staff in store several months prior. To my shock I was to find the 2nd bike I was being given was not the bike I had specifically ordered with staff but clearly a girls bike? To make it worse I was contacted by staff several weeks earlier prior to pick up asking if I wanted to swap my bike for newer colour as there was another customer after the same coloured bike that I had ordered, of which I said no.
With hours left of trading on Christmas Eve & a substitute bike not going to cut it for a boys Xmas present I was left in an unfortunate and stressful predicament to request my money back.
Sadly your staff couldn’t care about the ‘mix-up’ and couldn’t usher me out quick enough. I’ve been a customer of yourselves for a long time but after the Xmas Eve debacle I won’t be coming back..
Purchased a bike from these guys in 2016 and am still loving it. They gave good advise and helped me to understand how a bike should fit a rider. Let them know that I was interested in learning to ride better, and they sign me up for the newsletters when they have classes. None have fallen in a schedule that is conducive for me yet, but the few times I have needed anything I am always going to Planet Cycles first. The friendly, helpful service I received has been fantasic every time.

or my bike and it just seemed all too hard. It wasn't a big purchase but I certainly wouldn't buy my next bike off a shop that isn't prepared to put down work in to earn my business. Confirmed what I've been told, they only want to know you if you have you if you are dropping thousands. I'll take my dollars elsewhere, just plain arrogant and rude. Go to FTR, much better knowledge and happy to help.
My experience too! A woman called Bronwyn was so rude to me I have since found out she is married to the owner.
Wow considering all the bad reviews I'm surprised, I had a wonderful time with the crew here. I'm new to road bikes and my last bike I think I walked in liked the colour and bought it so being fitted for a road bike was an eye opener. They were very thorough explaining sitting position, cleat options, seats and grips. They fitted me for a whole package and I have been very happy with my bike since! except for the falls learning to unclip :)
