Set in an open air corridor running between Top Ryde City Shopping Centre and the Top Ryde Library, Platia Greek Taverna is one of nineteen restaurants. What sets it apart from the rest is that it’s one of the only surviving independents in a highly competitive restaurant precinct that is dominated by chains like Hurricane’s Grill & Bar, Coco Cubano and Bondi Pizza.

Was lucky enough to come here for Zorba Night and Plate smashing! It was an awesome experience that literally stops the entire dining complex at Ryde Shopping Centre as the zorba line spills out from the restaurant into the main courtyard becoming attraction to all nearby diners both in the restaurant and neighbouring establishments. Something you definitely have to try. Great food, great cultural experience!
