Aft witnessing the lack of supervision on an outing to the park I would be VERY wearing of using Play and Learn for Holiday Care and I would NEVER sign up for outings. The staff sat down while the children played out of view. When I approached the staff memeber's the answer was "I can see most of the park and we do head counts" hmmm not good enough if you ask me. Every mother in the playground was of the same opinion. One girl in particular was left crying on the silde for at least 5 minutes before a staff member attended to her and that was only because one of the other children went to advise the staff.
You can be sure to get the best care here. Just walk in any time and you can see for yourself how settled and happy the babies (and the staff) are. I have two children who go here and I wouldn't go any where else. Talk to any of the parents and they will all tell you how happy we are with the centre. Good work girls!
I am glad you have a better experience then me but I do not think it is appropriate from you to call my report rubbish as that was a true experience and I am entitled to my own opinion. I wish it did not happen but no one can change what I witnessed and mainly how I feel about this day care.
I was given really good recommendation about this day care by couple of people whose kids (around 4 years old) attended Play and Learn. So I signed up my 7 month old baby as well. When we visited babies room first time, the staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, it did not last long. Every day I dropped off my kid, the staff that look after kids would not even say hello, not even to my child to make her feel comfortable and welcomed. Instead I usually found them sitting inside or outside ignoring our presence. One afternoon I came to pick up my child unexpectedly early and what I witnessed was a disaster. My baby left in the corner alone and screaming with another kid, one little girl crawling on the kids table UNSUPERVISED and another little one drinking from a bottle on an adult chair (she could have fallen down or chocked) UNSUPERVISED as well. I have two of my children at Play and Learn, one in the babies room and my three year old who has been there since he was in the babies room. They have both been given the best care at all times and love their kindy days. The girls are wonderful - not just in the babies room but through out the centre. I can't recommend them highly enough. This report is just rubbish!
This a great personal child care centre where I cannot praise the staff enough. My children have attended for several years now and I know they are always looked after and cared for in a loving way.
Anyone in the area looking at this centre for their child, I would recommend to come an see for yourself. I am sure you will be as impressed as I am!
