I was a member of pleasure cruising for 12 months. I cancelled my membership in writing 2 months before it was due to conclude, Pleasure Crusing have now lost my cancellation after they had tried to bribe me to stay on as a member. I had to cancel my credit card so they would stop charging and now they are seeking 3 months payment. watch out for this Scam. Further - the boats are never available when you go to book them. I am taking Pleasure Crusing to VCAT. Beware of this scam.
Hello Jackson, if you recall you continued to enjoy your membership after you claim you exited your agreement you signed. As yet you have not remibursed the club for fees which we are now pursuing you for not honoring your agreement and taking advanatge of the club services without paying for it. We have many satisfied members who remain with us for many years and its unfortunate we have those few like yourself who don't respect their legal obligations.
The club won a VCAT ruling against you for not honouring your agreement and taking advantage of our club services.
We used one of their Riviera yachts just for a couple of hours just to do something different for our wedding anniversary. And I must say I am really impressed on how beautiful the boat is and how friendly the staff is. From booking to cruising, everything was a lovely experience and we are definitely doing it again!
I'm still a member of Pleasure Cruising Club and I have been on most of their boats except for the 28 footer one. The safety measures although can be very strict, its for the members safety. Maybe if I can suggest, to upgrade the stereos to take USBs or Ipods that will be great. But other than that, really great boats. Its convenient because we can just book online and not have to worry going through lengthy processes just to get a reservation.
Fantastic boats. I joined in 2014. been a boatie but never been good at fishing. First month I went fishing but caught nothing, right thatd be. daniel pretty spiffy taught members the tricks and locations. also held fishing events for us. Surprised to not see reviews yet. So im first one eh cheers mate george m
