Love Thai, have been to several and quiet enjoyed this one, will be back. Also it is against health regulations to take Take left over food home in a takeaway container. Unles you do it your self.
The staff have done the right thing,
Some people are happy to keep Their same cutlery, if you want fresh stuff ask..

I'm happy to use the same cutlery, if only they had of left a plate for it to be kept on. As for friendly staff, you must have had different staff than we did because our staff was far from friendly. Glad you enjoyed eating here though!
I took several family members here for dinner tonight after having a pleasant dining experience the last time I visited. Unfortunately, tonight's experience was not as pleasant. The first odd thing was that when the staff took our plates from the entree away, the staff asked us to remove our cutlery and keep this on the table!! Several family members ordered the pad Thai with prawns.... which for $21 you would expect more than the 2 and 3 prawns that 2 people got in their dishes. Another sore point was that my child's meal was brought out at least 10 minutes AFTER our meals had been served. I had the Chang Mai Chicken, which was rather nice though. But the icing on the cake was when we asked the staff to place my child's pad Thai in a take-away container (my child had hardly eaten it as she had to eat the rice that was brought out with my meal while she waited for hers!!!), the staff left and returned placing a container and a plastic bag on the table, and ...read more
I just want to say an amazing meal had by ploy Thai again..
As to people having nothing better to do than complain about having to put their left overs in a plastic container (which I might add was and amazing container)
It is by law you are not to let people take home leftovers and if they want to do so they have to do it themselves ..You are getting great customer service for them allowing you to do this as many other RESTAURANTS would not let you do this....People like you just need to give small businesses a chance instead of picking petty little situations ...You went back for a second time because you felt it was great the first time..All I can say is get over it and let the small businesses out there have a chance to grow bigger and better ..I have been there since it has opened and have never had a bad thing to say about the food,staff or the friendly service...
RE: CinaC's Comment......Nowhere did I say the first time I ate there was "great", I said pleasant. As for being described as "petty", I was mentioning MY experience there. Fair enough if there is a law saying you cannot take something that you have paid for from an eatery, but the overpriced dishes and the poor timing of meals being brought out is not something that I would recommend for others. Glad you enjoyed your experience though!
