The worst experience I've had with a plumbing company! I had water leak under the bathroom door, and Plumbing Detectives has a high star rating in Google for some reason.

Got them through insurance company as an emergency call out. They also operate under many under names. As per the other reviews, they are pushy, unprofessional, over priced and in the end, resolution had nothing to do with what they were trying to sell. Another provider we called promptly attended and professionally and permanently resolve the issue.
Shop around before using these guys. You have been Warned.
Plumbing detectives OVERCHARGED me $1200 to replace my hot water system. BE WARNED.
They charged me $2800 to replace a water heater. When i asked the plumber why it was so expensive he said the heater i needed was "top of the line and the most expensive" .
That night saw them on A Current Affair for overcharging and targeting the elderly. Checked online discovered my hot water system retails for only $1000.
Called 3 other plumbers and requested quotes for the exact same work and parts used as described on the invoice. They all came in at $1500 - $1600 MAX.
Plumbing Detectives overcharged me $1200 for the same job!
Beware- unqualified charged $910 to replace a tap in the driveway - didn’t bleed the lines and caused blockages to water supply to the house, I had no water and mud everywhere destroyed my hot water system, and wanted to charge me again to come back and fix there own damages. Called a different company out who had to replace all fittings in the house and dig up front yard to find all the blockages 2 days no water- had to take the kids and stay elsewhere department fair trading now involved -
