After training in the eastern suburbs with Matt Spooner(UFC mag Fitness/workout & Private kick-boxing coach) for 10yrs,.. i thought it would be impossible shoes to fill, until i came across PMA and head Coach Henrry Perez... the professional, approach, manner and standard of training is second to none'.. i would highly recommend to children and women, ( seeking self defence) boys/men and fighters looking for a decent stable in which to further there knowledge of material arts training' I've been attending Padstow two years now' both private and classes'' improve your training and game now' see you at training'' : )
I have signed up my sons at PMA and it has been one of the best decisions i have made in regards to their self esteem, self confidence, fitness and discipline. It is a friendly and family orientated environment where the students train together as a TEAM. the instructors are excellent role models for my 3 boys and the classes are dynamic, educational, safe and positive. Not only have they learnt how to defend themselves in a REAL situation but they are now healthier and fitter students. I have never had a problem with accounts and if there ever was an issue to arise the staff ( who are helpful and friendly) are more than happy to help and arrange a meeting so that we can discuss any issues. PMA provides all levels of training, competition training, traditional self defence, mma and grappling. GREAT SCHOOL, GREAT MORALS, CLEAN AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT!!!
AS GOOD AS IT GETS, THE BEST ! Ive been training with PMA for 6 years now and consider it the ONLY PLACE to train, period. I'm able to train at both of there centres (MENAI & PADSTOW) to fit my schedule, the staff are very friendly, its great for people of all ages and the instructors are fantastic. Everything they learn, they SHARE ! I only wish I started training at a younger age, as most of the little kids I see training look like they could wipe the floor with me:) Never had an issue with my account or contract and am pretty sure they have options for people with commitment phobias. If you want fitness, confidence and the ability to learn how to defend yourself in a REAL LIFE situation (note: the moves from Kung Fu Panda don't always work!) come and train at PMA. If not you could always just go for a run around the block, oh wait, they do that too!!! :)))))))))))))
Hi all, don't know what all the negativity is about.awesome place to train.instructors are great and really know what they are talking about, all staff have been professional and have really looked out for my well being and development, when I signed up I was explained that I was entering a contract and about the cancellation period so this is not something that should of come to a surprise to you, like most gyms the reason for this is so you commit yourself. As for the comments from Irish DJ the warm up runs for approximately 15 Min's and it is my understanding that in mma fitness and stamina play a vital role, every class I leave the centre having learnt something new. Routine drills are vital as we must learn to perfect them because without the basics what do we really know, as for the fees I think they are value for money, I have coaches with real experience and knowledge who train professional athletes/ fighters. I suggest you all come down and take some time to ...read more
Wish I read your comment before joining irish_dj. Trying to cancel, what a joke, they want you to make 2 more months of fortnightly payments before they will cancel it (in excess of $300) to them for no services provided, they are rude and very unhelpful - big ripoff, fine if you never plan on leaving them and paying forever but definately - Not recommended at all
