PNG Alluvial
Medium-scale Gold Mining optnty, in Papua New Guinea. 20 yrs exp in PNG, 9 years in gold mining. Recently accepted the General Management role of Mount Victor Alluvial Gold Mine.Gold Mining and Manufacturing Opportunity.
The industry average cost to produce gold per ounce is some 280 USD and considering the gold price has been consistently over 1,200 USD per ounce the realistic profit margins are genuinely very good.
Alluvial gold mining is a particularly easy form of mining that processes river wash to recover the gold that is in free-in-state in the river gravels.
From an initial 5 years of alluvial mining assessment and then another 4 years of small-scale activity, I have accepted an opportunity to Manage and to develop the Mount Victor Alluvial Gold Mine that has a typical 5 ha/5 year alluvial mining license with reserves at minimums of 2.5 - 10 grams per m3 at the wash bottom that is no more than 4 meters.
On site there is a good 'Shaker' plant that needs a little attention that will be capable of 10 m3 throughput per hr and an old 14 ton excavator that needs help with a min 20 ton modern machine.
Initially we have the creek system and terraces of gold wash up as much as 80 meters from the creek to develop with up to another 2 klm's down stream and even the hard-rock source that is clearly defined.
To commence development I have to build an alluvial box (currently undertaking in Sydney) that can be fed by the old 14 ton digger, finish the plant (at about AUD 10 K) and introduce a new or near new 20 ton excavator.
There is Management quarters and communications hut as well as some 6 x 4" stationary water pumps for initial water supply and brand new smelting and fire assay equipment.
This site is capable of producing 1 kg of gold per day, its just a matter of the through-put.
I have also organised fly-in-fly out with a local helicopter Co for management and gold transit.
Funds are for the establishment of a professionally managed and run operation that enjoys the best possible relationship with the local resource owners.
Funds up to 660 K AUD (if a new 20 ton excavator is ...read more
