my son went here for a 9 year old birthday party, I am not a fan of traditional chinese as you are never sure about additives and preservatives, the colorfulness of the food is always a concern, this place is very traditional style food fried rice, meat dishes, prawn crackers, fried ice cream, etc. they were very welcoming for a kids birthday party. food looked the usual fare
Quite ordinary to look at both in and outside, but great food and service. A big range of lunch specials that are very generous serves for a low price. You get free prawn crackers on arrival, and lots of delicious choices on the menu. They also home deliver within the area which is convenient!
To look at, Po Hing is probably not a place I ever would have gone to. It's a very ordinary brown brick building with very plain signage. But my parents started going there regularly and raved about the food. Once I tried it - wow. Their sweet and sour chicken is amazing! They have a lunch menu priced between $7 - 9 on weekdays and it is well worth it. The dinner prices are a little expensive for ordinary Chinese food so I definitely recommend going at lunchtime.
