As a denizen of Boronia - a suburb with almost as many pizza joints as hairdressers (and almost as many hairdressers as churches), I like to imagine I know a thing or two about how to evaluate the benefits of bestowing my business upon any given pizza-serving establishment. Gourmet pizzas too were a disappointment: twice the price for what? The innovation of a cheeseless pizza with awkwardly sliced tomato, inadequately chopped basil, and not even a wisp of flavour synergy? No ...read more
Not the best pizza restaurant around but not the worst either. We walked in about a week ago to a half-empty restaurant asking for a table and were greeted with a "yes, but you need to be out by 8". A fair ask, if indeed they had been fully booked up, but come 8pm and the restaurant was emptier than it was when we walked in and it still felt like we were being pushed out the door!
The food was bordering on average but for the price you can definitely get better (just look down the road a bit). They also managed to mix up our drink orders and it seemed the staff were more interested in talking to eachother than providing quality service. We always got the feeling they didn't quite know what was going on!
