Point Hook Fish & Chips

I used to go here all the time, but I've lost confidence in that my order would be prepared correctly. So many times my order has been stuffed up, something has been forgotten or edits have not been made correctly. I'm sick of having to go back to fix something that was made wrong or to collect something that was missing from my order. The food quality was good. It's more the accuracy of the order that is an issue.
Not the sort of fish and chip shop that throws in a cheeky potato cake, or compensates you in any way for having to return to the store to fix a problem that they have caused. I've since found a new Fish ' Chip shop which loves, listens to and treats its customers. Bye bye Point Hook... Bye bye

LOVE this fish and chip shop, I always come here, the flake batter is awesome, chips nice (we always add chicken salt), very quick service. Always consistent.

Customer service is lacking. They smother the chips in salt so we always ask for no salt. Sometimes they leave the salt out and sometimes they don't. The last order I placed I asked for the chips to be crispy - that means cook them a bit longer. What I got was chips that were hardly cooked at all and many of them had blemishes in them and should have been taken out before being cooked.. Such a shame as their burgers and fish are exceptional but if I can't get what I want when I ask for it I'm going to look elsewhere.
