Politix Hair

Politix Hair has moved to 17 Newland Street Bondi Junction - just so everyone knows. I have been going to Politix for years and I find it excellent. I always have a great cut and the colours are just beautiful. I have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

So lucky to have found Politix, thank you for my brilliant cut and blow dry! It is the best I have had since moving to Sydney from LA. Have searched everywhere for a good cut in Sydney and all along this was my local salon, such a hidden gem. Thank you again and see you soon.

On the way to work I walked past a salon that looked very pleasant amongst the salons in the area.

I needed my color done badly and a cut too so I took a chance since I have never gone to a salon without a referral

The staff made me feel at ease

And very welcoming the stylist was wonderful and very enthusiastic and creative

My color and cut was fantastic and I have to tell you that I have discovered a hidden jewel in the area,

it will be my salon and a hidden jewel to come to when I need great hair.

The bottom line is ,when you left the salon you felt like a million dollars and I can't say that I have ever felt that way

I unfortunately had a really bad hair experience recently when I booked on for a head of foils (which I deeply regret!!) I wanted to get blonde foils on my hair and keep some brown but instead keeping my brown the staff also put in a redy/orangy/weird browny colour and my once nice hair isn't so nice now! I'm so upset and can't believe what happened! How can a colourist disappoint and make someone's hair have yellow and orangy and redy tones!! I then went back and got toners put on but when home gain and drying my hair it didn't seem to make any difference..the damage was done :-( I then was in tears that day and very upset and knowing that I'm a day away from going away was even worse. I then made a appointment with another hairdresser and they put some foils in to try and get rid of the yellow and orange and redy tones and I was told I shouldn't do anything else to my hair for at least 3 months! ...read more
