For the carnivores out there, this cosy and intimate venue will have your hearts fluttering. It's on the higher priced spectrum but the food is top quality. I had the sirloin steak and knicked a bite out of the rib eye which was absolutely divine. The desserts are absolute bomb too - get the apple and macadamia crumble!
A really great atmosphere is created here. There are options too - I came for dinner, when diners can either sit inside at their own table, or outside in a shared "communal" table - that's a great move, to offer both options. Service is really lovely, everyone is great, professional and efficient, so there is no unnecessary waiting around. I enjoyed the most tender of Sichuan Scallops for entree, then a beautifully cooked fillet of Salmon with Tiger Prawns, Squid Ink and Asparagus ... aaahhh, every mouthful was an utter delight. I had a side of a Iceberg Lettuce with tomato vinaigrette - also very good, but the dressing does make the lettuce look rusty, even though I knew it wasn't. I had a glass of Symphonia Pinot Grigio. A lovely meal. It's great to be able to see the open kitchen at work too. Very enjoyable experience.
Went here with a group of people and was sat on the balcony. The food was terrific and the atmosphere great all night.
My parents came from overseas a few weeks later and I had no doubt where to take them in the rocks. There is nothing touristy about this place; just a great restaurant in a fabulous location.
