We had both breakfast and dinner here and it was ok. The service is really great and the tables are situated on the terrace overlooking the pool which is nice. It is a more relaxed dining option on Hamilton Island and they serve you really quickly due to their high turnover. The prices are pretty steep but that's to be expected from anywhere on Hamilton. I had the chilled king prawn salad which was all fresh and beautifully put together. A large enough portion so you didn't go hungry but you're not going to walk away stuffed. Breakfast is the standard buffet you see at most hotels, it's busy and the food is decent.
Great restaurant with lots of food options. The squid ink pasta was delicious and their buffet breakfast is on point.
Bacon, omelette station, poached eggs, friend eggs, scrambled eggs, hash Browns, beans, sausages, cereal, even Japanese breakfast options! A very convenient. Location if you are staying in the reef view hotel as it is just in the lobby!
Whilst only hotel guests can sample lunch directly on the pool you can have lunch seated at the restaurant or dinner instead. You need to book for dinner as it is often booked for special occasions and small groups. Our dinner was divine, they always have a quality chef from around the world who serves up innovative ways of your favourites. The wine list is good and the service is friendly, efficient and professional.
We stayed at the Reef View and had the buffet breakfast included in our package. The breakfast at the Pool Terrace was a standard buffet breakfast with hot food items, eggs, sausages, hash browns etc, creal and yoghurt, fruit and bakery goods. The food was good, hot and was refilled regularly. The machine coffees are not recommended. We ate at Sails for one morning and preferred the Pool Terrace.
