Classes will cover (at different times) technique in Burlesque, Jazz, Cabaret, Bump and Grind, 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s dance, Chair Dance, Isis Wings, Fan Dance and more!
Porcelain is a Blue Mountains (NSW) based dancer, choreographer, performance artist and dance teacher with a passion for the unusual and the theatrical. Porcelain loves to celebrate and be involved in projects that celebrate women and alternative lifestyles and cultures. Porcelain is an active Domestic Violence prevention and Body Positivity advocate and this is reflected in a large portion of her body of work.
Discovering her love of dance at the young age of three, Porcelain's first International Dance Titles were received in New York at the age of 11 and she has continued to gain recognition in her dance life and through her choreographic works danced by her students since taking students to local and National dance titles and taking out the title of Miss Pinup International in London in 2013.
Porcelain is a qualified dance teacher under the Australasian Dance Association.
Porcelain's aim is to create works and opportunities that give as many people as possible access to the joy, healing power of and creative outlet that is dance.
Porcelain is known for her authentic performance style and will have your audience at the edge of their seats as she brings them into her world and has them laughing, crying and celebrating with the performers on stage.
