Porgie & Mr Jones

2nd time we have been to this cafe and each time it's perfect. Perfect service, perfect food, perfect ambience. We haven't had to wait for a table on either Occassion. Absolute gem in the neighbourhood. They even gave us coins for the lundromat we went to even though the other business nearby wouldn't! Do yourself a favour and eat here!! Oh and the coffee is divine!

Porgie & Mr Jones is a delightfully cozy place for coffee and brunch. The interior is well spaced and with several different rooms to cater for how busy it gets on the weekends although there is only one toilet for the place. The coffee here is very tasty, just the right temperature and froth. The smashed avocado and baked banana bread that we ordered was delicious and the portion sizes were decent. The service was fast and courteous.

Very busy cafe with a few different rooms. Cosy lay out, warm and inviting. Fast paced, latte was nice, service was good, the breakfast we ordered was ok. Very expensive compared to other cafes.

Great vibe to this place. Sat outside, enjoyed a sensational coffee and wow, who knew banana bread (with berry compote) could be so good. Not cheap, but worth it, I think.

The food was good (not as good as last time), came out quickly & the coffee was very good,. Our waitress was lovely & thought she was the sweetest!

However, we were forced to go before we had finished all our coffees, my partner's (whom was having a cigarette outside) chair was taken from our table by a waitor who didn't ask first & the other staff where we paid was very rude.

We'll have to think twice before going next time!
