This pub was actually pretty cool. Okay, it is an old man’s pub, well, at least a part of it is, because that is generally what you encounter when you walk into a sports bar. Still, despite that, I did quite like the place, probably because it happened to be near the beach, and also have a decent selection of craft beers, and South Australian ones at that (which is always a bonus). There was also an outdoor area out the front, which was more like tables on the footpath, but they were far enough from the road to make it pretty cool.
The food is a little outdated. But the option of having a salad bar is good. The staff are always friendly and the quiz nights are a hit and always fun to participate in. It's a nice local pub that has retained some of it's historic features, which is rare to see these days.
i think the food is a little out dated. although good and nice - especially if you are looking for a regular hotel to visit in the area.
the salad bar has a good selection.
the staff seem to know what they are doing and the place is always tidy and clean when we have been
