Port Phillip Animal Hospital is a truly special place. No matter which vet you see you know your pet is in the best hands. My French Bulldog Clementine tore her cruciate ligament (amongst other things, frenchies get to know their vets very well!) and Dr. Matt diagnosed the issue immediately and was so calm and reassuring as I sat crying because my dog was in pain. Not my proudest moment, and he was so sweet. He was able to book us into surgery the next day-with Dr. Craig Goode who is very experienced with this surgery. The surgery went so well! Craig and the nurses were gorgeous with their aftercare and he sent photos to my phone of Clemmy as she had to stay overnight. 6 weeks on I am proud to bring her back in to show Craig how well she is walking. I am so lucky to have found this place and I am so grateful. The prices are so reasonable and they did not charge for every little thing. The nurses I'm told stayed late into the night after the surgery to ...read more

There is nothing more traumatic than watching your dog get hit by a car. I am not sure what I would have done without Dr. Craig and Dr. Emma and the nurses at the hospital. They immediately sprang into action and did what was necessary to save my dog without making me bankrupt. I will never forget Dr. Craig's kindness when he spent the night at the clinic with my little dog and even took him home with him for the extended care I could not provide at home. These folks worked around the clock to ease my dog's suffering and I am eternally grateful. When I struggled with my insurance provider they called them out and sorted it for me, which is something I did not expect them to do. My dog is happily on my lap as I type this, so I would call it a job well done! Thank you!

I have been coming to Port Phillip Vets for over 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. They are very reasonable in price, in fact they are cheaper than a few other places I have been to in the past. My dog Lexie has broken her leg and had a couple of dental procedures there and i really felt like i could trust them, not once did i feel i was being over serviced, they actually care about your pet and only want the best for them, that really comes across from their service, could not recommend them highly enough.

It's my dog's first not to mention we change 4 different at at clinic. Coz vet was leaving! Coz different vet different ideas! With our pet problem become more and more! Seems like less operation is better then this clince suggest! Plus the insurance send forms delays! Wonder if this clinic have too much they can sew! VERY VERY REGRET WITH THE OPION THEIR OFFER. I learn every pet should at least have two different vet for the god sake after multi time visited this vet!

I brought my dog in for a vaccination and the vet found a lump which I had not seen. The lump was malignant and has now been removed. I have no doubt that the vet saved my dog's life. She was thorough, attentive and understanding. Highly recommended
