Port Stephens Council

To the council...The rangers said my dog was found down the beach not even 2k's from my house...



Having a good old chat About all the things i could do to keep him in they suggested a chain run with a D bar and metal clip on a chained run. (exactly what i have in the back yard and i told them) My dog snapped a metal clip off his collar and the evidence is all there,Bang!...They crack me with a fine and says if i can't look after him to surrender him to them, After looking for him for hours.



Why do they think i pay to have my dog registered and chipped, So if he is lost i can find him why do the right thing by the council then let them fine me after i already paid the fees to prevent getting a fine??



I do not understand??
