Posh Wash Laundrette

i was surprised to read a bad review when looking for posh washes phone number, I thought perhaps it had changed hands but no it hadn't and i was happy because they were more than willing to help out as they had always been. They quoted $35 over the phone for dry-cleaning a queen size woollen doona, that my anxious dog had peed all over whilst I was renovating and she was stressed, unbeknown to me. It only became apparent after i noticed a wet spot and when i took the cover off in daylight it was nasty, there was no way it was going back on the bed, so i had to either have it cleaned or replace it. i explained the stains and the dilemma i faced. He told me to bring it down and he would put it through his machine with some special stuff as the dry cleaners would be unable to remove the stains. Three of the five items I had cleaned came back badly damaged, and another was still dirty upon return. While I was disappointed as they were all brand new shirts, I understand that these things do happen sometimes. However, when I tried to discuss what had happened with the staff, they were very rude and unapologetic.



I left four messages with one employee for the managementr, who either did not receive or return any of my calls. Upon brining the shirts back in, I have not yet had a guarantee that anything will actually be done about the damage, nor have a received a refund.
