Possums Bed & Breakfast offers self-contained accommodation overlooking the River Derwent on Hobart's Eastern Shore. Two suites have spas and the third has twin showers. Comfort was our main consideration when fitting out was being completed and weary travellers really do appreciate this. Our first holiday in over 10 years and we unfortunately booked Possum apartments for a couple of nights. We arrived on the Friday night with the Saturday being my 50th birthday. It was the middle of winter and we were disappointed to find the apartment freezing cold when we arrived. Then we tried to make a hot drink only to find the kettle leaked.I thought I would have a spa to warm up while my husband rang the management for another kettle. Unfortunately the hot water ran out before I could get it to the level for the jets to work. They brought over the second kettle. We plugged it in and immediately blew the electric. Rang the management again who came and flicked a trip switch. At last, we thought we would cosy up in bed with the advertised electric blanket on.
