Federation Gardens Lodge offers 12 well appointed 2-bedroom self-contained family cottages. The lodges are ideally located in park-like acres, adjacent to the World Heritage National Park yet only minutes to restaurants, shops, and a golf course. Designed with families or groups in mind, the Federation style apartments sleep up to six people and each have a kitchenette, lounge/dining area, bathroom, heating, television and video. Linen, towels and feather quilts are also provided. A five-bedroom cottage is also available.The resort is on 8 acres and has an indoor heated swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor log fire "hut" and a large undercover barbecue area.
Really the only drawcard of this place is its location: right near bush land. The accommodation is fine, but not really anything super special - and especially not for what they charge.
Adequate cooking facilities in a large living room with a big tv and well heated area. However, heating doesn't extend into bedrooms very well so it's lucky they've got blankets (which 'just' do the job).
Big play area & tennis court with rackets avail for free, plus volleyball area. Warm ish swimming pool indoor. But to be honest I could do better for the price they charge.
