Yesterday I picked up a script for my mother. The prescription says half twice a day. They dispensed tiny little tablets that I couldn't cut in half let alone my mother. It's a brand from a company they have an agreement with to cut costs. When this has happened before they exchanged them. This time the manager who I have never seen actually work a day there in my life, refused to and tried to keep the medication that was paid for. The script clearly says take half twice a day. I recently had to have a fairly important course of antibiotics whilst holidaying in pottsville. My doctor faxed the script through to the local pharmacy. When I went in the 'supervisor' (an unfriendly lady) asked if my doctor had mailed it as well. I looked at her blankly and said I didn't know but that I had to start the tablets straight away. 'We don't get paid unless we get the original' said the 'supervisor'. At that point I felt like I was not getting my script and prepared for drug wars. I told her I was sure my doctor knew the protocol for prescriptions but I would ring and check. She gave me my tablets and I got the heck out of there!! Shocking customer service.
