I have purchased 2 planes and a engine in the last week from the crew at power grunt hobbies and they are perfect people / perfect hobby shop. They have great knowlege and their prices rivial all online stores. I will continue to spread the word about power grunt, great people, great products, great prices!
Bought an item as a gift for my child.
After opening on Christmas day we realized some parts & instructions were missing. Contacted the store & was told to bring the item & packaging in. Then was told the package had been opened prior to my purchase. Staff were hesitant to take responsibility and the replacement parts aren't available until January 11th.
Considering this was my son's MAIN gift it has tarnished our Christmas for 2011.
Power Grunt couldn't care less.
Poor customer service, reluctant to take responsibility...
You first told us that the car had two plugs the same which I asked for the item back so we can see what you were talking about... when I saw the item it was fine, the charger and car have to be the same plug for the battery to be used in the car and then to be charged.
I then asked for you to return the whole box so I can sort it out, on looking at the outer packaging from your rather aggressive opening, the battery you claimed missing was suprise surprise the only part of the inner foam box that was ripped... we took your word for it and I have one on the way for you but as our supplier was away for xmas its being sorted asap... I was never hesitant to you I just wanted to get the facts right before hand so before you post negative comments about us its best to post the full story.. Regards Pete Power Grunt Hobbies!
