Power cor today mutilated some trees in my front garden with th excuse that they were too close to the power lines. The branchs they cut were at least four meters away from the power line and to add insult to injury they then left all the branches they cut down strewn about my front lawn. Whilst I agree with safety and tree pruning being important, this clearly was an act of vandleism as the trees were not correctly pruned but hacked about and butchered leaving my front yard looking like a rubbish dump and the trees looking as though they had been hit by a cyclone, if powercor has the right to come along and destroy all the hard work that goes into making my front garden look descent then something needs to be done about it. This is clearly an abuse of power and a disgrace, do they have the right to bully people in this way, shame on you Powercor. J Smith Moolap
