I put my vehicle in for a service at Powerhouse Ford not too long ago. I returned at approximately 1:00pm and the inspection report stated that the front brake pads required replacing. We enquired if they could replace them that day and I was told that would feasible and should be complete by 4:00pm. Upon return and a lengthy wait in reception with other cross customers, an apprentice emerged from the workshop with the new brake pads in hand and offered them to me, stating these were the brake pads we requested. With disbelief and bewilderment I informed them that they were supposed to install them. Realizing the stupidity of the situation staff then said that they could then put them on.

This is a generous review! We have a business that depends on the reliability of our vehicles so when ever we keep a new fleet of vehicles fully maintained. I understand that there is a risk of getting a "lemon" but as all good business people it isn't the error that is remembered it is the response actions. Ford has now had the car for 3 weeks costing the company over $1500 in rentals. But the worst part is no one could even take the time out of their busy schedule to return my calls. I spoke with every member of the team and they consistently took my number and promised to call me back. I am yet to receive one return call from there service department I am currently wrighting this from there service department waiting room and the two staff on the desk are talking about what tonight holds in store for them while I sit shoulder to shoulder with customers angry with overdue vehicles.
