After booking a taxi for my children and grandchild for pick up from Campbell town station after being on a country train for two hours, the taxi was 30 mins late. Requested a baby seat and when my son contacted them to see where the taxi was told "waiting on a baby seat" . when calling to see where the taxi was, when asked to hold, my son could here about the operator talking about him in the background. Taxi arrived at 745pm , half a hour late, and the the driver didn't know where he was taking them, even though it was stated on the knlunry booking where they were to be taken. Such awful customer service and awful people to try and deal with!!!
I had a terrible experience with Premier Cabs. As a tourist in November 2016, I took the cab from the airport to my hotel. The vehicle was a mini-van, and the driver ripped me off, charging me double what the fare indicated. (The fare was displayed on his app, and he pushed another button that doubled the fare--presumably an option if you specifically ordered a mini-van, which I did not do; it was what pulled up in the queue in the taxi stand.) He also said there would be a 5% surcharge if I paid by credit card, so I (foolishly) paid cash--AUS$100. It wasn't until I spoke with the front desk at my hotel did I realize I had been ripped off. I contacted the main office and got no resolution; they said they tried contacting the driver but never heard from him. AVOID PREMIER CABS. DISHONEST DRIVERS.
I'm a carer, I had two disabled women with me, I stated that at the start and asked for a bigger vehicle for two walkers. They sent a small cab and a vexed driver. He left in a huff
So I called and talked to a sassy operator. She confused me saying we had already ordered another one and that we had to just wait. 20 mins later we called bk. She said.. They have already picked you up. We said if they did then why are we calling you? They said they'll send another. Waited an hour and a half longer then went with 13 cabs no issue with them
Will use them instead from now on
Recently my experience with Premier Cabs was horrible! Last week I booked a cab to go to Hilton Hotel for the conference at 5:30am from Bondi Junction (ref number 41829535) and taxi number 8300. The dispatcher called me and said the driver couldn’t find me and I was waiting outside my house in Bondi Junction!!! How difficult it is to use the GPS?...Then the driver called me and asked where I was. I agreed to come to a bigger road and he still couldn't find me. The driver was very rude, he said I didn’t explain properly where I was (why do I even need to tell that if I gave them my address?????. He also said he is not familiar with the area. Seriously - it is Bondi Junction, how he could not be?!). Finally the driver just hang up on me. I was already late for work, waiting in the dark, running around with heaps of stuff which I were not supposed to do as I am pregnant and stressing of being late...
