I was originally referred to these guys via RACV. I have taken my Mercedes here twice (over a 6month time frame) and after my last visit I will never trust my car with this business again. BEWARE. they are not using genuine Mercedes parts, and whatever they are doing they have caused my car more problems than I originally had. Servicing a vehicle at a workshop that claim to be a Prestige" mechanic should be a regular straight forward process, instead my car has come out with all sorts of expensive failures. The owner Jorge gave me the run around each time I called up and throughout has been incoherent to explain what issues my car was facing. I immediately took my car to a real mechanic where they determined that after-market parts have been used (and showed me) which caused further issues to my car.
Bring your car at your own risk. I am appalled RACV use this workshop as approved inspectors referral when they hardly take care of a car and pay no ...read more
After servicing with them for almost 5 years as they were recommended by RACV for a vehicle report, I now wonder what parts were used on my Mercedes. I went back to them with the same problem 2 times within a week and all I got was that the problem was caused by something else, after consulting another mechanic I was told the parts used initially were after Market German brands. Once I put the original part in I have had not a problem with the car since.
I have been using this garage for about the last 2 years (I have 4 company prestige vehicles that did get serviced here), but I must admit that once upon a time they were good, but lately quality has deteriorated dramatically. I had a job done on my one of my vehicles brakes, the actual work caused more problems with the brakes. I took the car back immediately and the management seemed reluctant to not only listen to what I had to say but hesitant to fix or even look at my vehicle again. They then did not want to fix the problem and seemed too busy to fix their mistake. I took it to the another mechanic, they told me cheap parts were the cause of the problem. I will not use them anymore which is a shame as they seemed reasonable guys, but they are booking in too many jobs as they get busier, without upgrading the infrastructure and labor. Overall I have lost trust in Prestige City Garage (especially for parts), and had to pay again to have my brakes fixed by ...read more
Recently, My husband took my latest car (as new BMW) to them for a roadworthy so as to transfer. After paying nearly $4000 for the roadworthy & repairs and getting the car home, it became apparent the car had an exhaust leak, the oil wasn't checked and it required nearly 5 litres to top it up by me and all 4 wheel nuts were left off the car because there was no lock nut and they had to force the lock nuts off. However they failed to replace them or inform me about it. Obviously this would have meant the car was returned to me in an unroadworthy condition. I sent them several emails, spoke to their lead mechanic and neither of them took any ownership of the issues. I eventually got a response by email and phone call from them, completely unwilling to discuss the issues and totally took no responsibility for any of the work done. Flabbergasted would be an understatement that a business I had been dealing with who call themselves professional business people have ...read more
