I could not fault the service I received from Prestige Party Hire for my recent wedding in the Hunter Valley for 340 people which I thought was going to be a massive operation but Prestige handled it with ease even though I know they were working on other major events on the same weekend. From the girls in the office through to the guys on site I found everyone very easy to deal with and able to handle a bridezilla ;) Putting 340 people anywhere is tough but Prestige sorted everything to make it a great success in a paddock in the middle of no where, from toilets to generators and coolrooms. The guys were on site 2 days building the marquee trying conditions and still all had a smile on their face at the end of the day. I could not praise Prestige more and would recommend them to anyone.
I was really disappointed with the customer service of prestige party hire. I had been dealing with one contact within the company and the three days before my event that person failed to be contactable again. I was stuck communicating with an unhelpful and rude person. The company made decisions about my order without consulting me, meaning we had inadequate utensils. We had had a staff come and do a sight inspection and told us that they would be able to Put the coolroom where we wanted it. a different staff delivered the coolroom and refused to put the coolroom in the designated area, leaving it in the driveway instead. Further, the point of contact failed to tell us that their staff constructing the marquee would take much more time than anyone expected. It was all in all a very unpleasant experience.
