The worst experience of my life. Booked the venue for a wedding for 300 people in October 2013. All invites was sent, our own catering booked, our own decoration company booked. All costs were paid as stated in their contract.
The night before the wedding I get a call from the brother in law of the person in charge (the person in charge is the sub-leaser of the venue) that the venue has been locked up by the owners. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not go here. Horrible customer service.
I have booked my wedding reception with this place last year in December 2012 and the event date was in November 2013. They asked for $2000 deposit and I had no problem with that. I transferred the money over through internet banking and for some reason the transaction went through twice. When I realised the next day I contacted the management who said they would return the extra $2000 back into my account. I think theres a new owner at that venue now. The new owners are great to deal with I have worked with them few times in the past they own a couple of other venues.
How ever I must admit the previous owners at princess court was very rude.
The place is all cleaned up and well presented. I remember going there a couple of years ago and did not have a very good experience at all, however I was surprised to see the improvement in venue decor, service level and also the general atmosphere about the place.
Upon chatting to the manager we found out that the management had changed hands and it all made sense!
Generally, very pleased with the place and looking forward to be invited to another wedding, and the delicious food!
STAY AWAY.
We payed $70 per head, but was served the worst 3 course meal ever. Our vegan friends received shredded iceberg lettuce and a piece of over cooked carrot FOR BOTH ENTREE AND MAIN meal.
entree menu was fish with salad. We received dried cut of portions of fish with shredded iceberg lettuce as the salad. Its the worst service.
We organised and paid for alcohol package, but our guests were told they could only have one bottle and that there was not enough alcohol to go around.
Far too many promises made, but none fulfilled. If you cherish your wedding day. DO NOT USE THIS RECEPTION. The service and level of quality in food is not worth a penny.
