Princess Royal Station began trading as a family business in 2000 and today incorporates around 100 000 acres in the Mid North of South Australia, along with property in the Flinders Rangers. This has enabled the business to branch out, particularly in the agricultural sector. Products and services under Princess Royal umbrella include cereal crops and livestock feed, beef cattle, lamb, organic red wine and a carob orchard, sheep AI services and a small transport operation.

Princess Royal Station itself has rich history, with an iconic homestead to match. Founded originally as a mining company in era of the copper boom in South Australia, after yielding little profit, the property was sold in 1851.
