BEST EVER !!! After having to sell my beloved boat a few years ago, I decided to try fishing on charter boats. I have been on just about every charter boat between Queenscliff, St Kilda and Sorrento, and what a variation of experiences. I have now settled on a favourite, Proline Charters, which works out of Sorrento.
What an amazing crew this is! Strait Shooter is an awesome boat, and Andrew the skipper should have been a comedian, funny bugger he is. The deckies are fantastic, no matter which one you have on the day, Roz and Harly are the best I have seen, looking after everone at an amazing pace. There's never any 'down time' cos your bait, hooks or rigs are replaced so quickly. And they really know how to fish too, a humbling experience it is, being seriously outfished by a girl, ha ha.
You even get a feed of snags in bread, and a cuppa to boot! ...read more
