I love music. It keeps me alive and going out which the music at prohibition most nights helps aid in; and music should not be abused.
That said, this venue tries to turn enthusiastic music goers into cash cows with drinks that are condescendingly expensive, that said this is just the start of the problem. The problem is the drunk bartenders underpouring any spirit you ask for. Quick math shows that each mL is worth 30ish cents per $9.5 basic whereby the classic aeration technique is exemplified and encouraged per corner of the bar

For a reasonably new club in Brisbane, I think Prohibition is going really well. They have plenty of seating, a sizeable dance floor and the venue itself is quite well designed. The staff are friendly and they have a pretty good lineup of DJs - one of the better venues in Brisbane with free entry!
