It's not about rock hard abs or impossible flexibility and in contrast to popular belief, you do not need a dancers body or balanced yoga chakra to start or succeed at Pilates. The success of Pilates is based in a balanced development of strength, flexibility and body awareness in order to support your body efficiently, make you look and feel great, and make you a more effective mover.
Our aim is just that, to get people moving. At the Pilates Cottage we strive for progression- to work over time to achieve greater use of your body through stronger conditioning and an enhanced awareness of your physical facility. You will sweat, you will work hard, but you will also learn.
