Protec Gas Services

Having used top end heater service gas companies before, I came accross Protec as they specialise in my heater, I had to let them know any faults with it so the service man would have parts for it, they also carry a range of spares, well it was the first time a serviceman pulled out the whole heater components and the fan housing as well, completely cleaned it, replaced the wires and sensors and put it all back, no other service guys have done that before they only vaccume around all the parts and see if it lights, plus they are cheaper than others, because they dont have to order in parts and come back a second time to fix it so no 2 call out fees, not unless like me I decided to clean the glass and broke a piece off the end so yes through my fault there will be a second call out, serves me right, many thanks to the lovely receptionist staff as they are very polite, friendly with great customer service care, Protec is a very professional and fast company to deal with, ...read more

I found Protec an excellent company to deal with. Right from the get go I spoke to a very helpful receptionist with great customer service and beautiful telephone manners to the day of the repairs by the gas fitter. The gas fitter was very professional and efficient with his approach to the job ensuring at all times the work was carried out safely and with minimum mess.
The whole process from booking to work completion was faultless, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring gas related work.

Make sure you time technician. After being quoted for a standard service, the technician charged an extra $35 for 15 minutes, even though it took him 10 minutes either side to unpack and pack his tools, and advised the extra 15 minutes included wiping out the inside of my remote and replacing the batteries as an 'extra service'. Am feeling mislead and disappointed by this company, I will not be using them again.

Your guy was on time, knew what he was doing and had the parts to fix my heater. Really, really happy because I was thinking it was not fixable and I was going to have to buy a new one. Thanks.

Very happy with the service and approach. He explained everything clearly and left us with more knowledge and peace of mind about our gas system and appliances. Would definitly recommend.
