this is a genuine report. despite having problems with out first purchase from Proud we foolishly bought a second suite. we love their style, it suits our "look" but sadly we again find we have been sold a very poor quality. we were assured the fabric was the toughest wearing (black) but all the fluff from inside kept coming through. we opened the zipper and discovered the foam cushions are old, already breaking down and made up of different pieces stuck together. you can see a photo on my facebook page. foam is supposed to be best quality from Dunlop
Yes! A lounge shop in Crows Nest's "furniture alley" that does not cost the earth. If the truth be known, I also don't want a bargain basement lounge, as we all know that would not be supportive. Sooo, this place is a happy half way place, nice styles, service etc. park outside or in a Crows Nest side street.
I was really impressed to hear that all Proud Furniture is made in Sydney. I like shopping at paces that support local business. I found the staff very friendly and I thought the showroom was quite funky with lots of clear roof panels to let in the natural light. The designs are quite classic and I think they could do with some on-trend display styling to give it a lift. Definitely worth a visit.
