Pukka Pies

I love chomping down on the good ol pie! Doesnt have to be fancy, just meaty, fresh, n tasty..so after reading on such good reviews about Pukka pies I thought I was in for a good treat! My partner and I dropped in early in the morning to taste some freshly baked pies.... I bit into soggy pastry, hardly any crunch as you would expect from freshly baked. And it was a blob of mince swimming in salty gravy. Not one meat chunk. Other stores are definitely better than Pukka pies. A bit confused with the good reviews Pukka pies have received? But that was my experience. First time and the last time!

Pies, Pasties, Suasage Rolls, Cold Drinks....A small area indoors to sit down and eat.Reasonable Prices and great tasting pies in lots of varieties to choose from.There is Plain Beef, Peppered Steak, Curry Chicken, Bacon n Cheese...Great range to choose from and baked fresh daily...We have been on a Saturday about 2.00pm and there hasn't been many pies left in the oven- Get in early to get more choice...they obviously walk out the door like Hot Cakes...oops I mean Pies!

One of the great pie shops in Townsville. Fresh, tasty pies in a number of different varieties. They also have sausage rolls and pasties. Most will find a lunch item they like. Made with real, tasty ingredients and priced reasonably.
