We were looking for some desserts at The Star but we were not in the mood for gelato so Gelato Messina was out of the question. So when we stumbled across Pulse Express at the other end of the food court, displaying their selection of cakes and hipster-ridden protein-style chocolate balls, we were very tempted. They also sell shakes and hot drinks amongst other things.
At $6 per piece, at first it was worth it. We ordered the tiramisu as well as the chocolate brownie. The tiramisu was quite alright, but the brownie was very dry. One bad thing about this place is that most of their food offerings don't have prices on them, so you would have to ask them or possibly risk getting charged whatever. The staff that served us at the counter was having difficulties answering questions and dealing with our requests (I think it might have just been a communication barrier).
