We chose Punjabi Hut for dinner tonight as we had not had any Indian food for a long time. We opted for takeaway and the service was friendly and the choice very good. We were told it would take 20 minutes so we walked along the cafe strip in Erindale and then came back to watch part of a Bollywood movie showing in the restaurant. The decor in the restaurant was in warm orange tones, with candles on all the tables and on wall decorations, and beautiful tablecloths. The food was ready as advised, and the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo were both rich and saucy with decent amounts of meat. We also had the Rice flavoured with Coconut and raisins and it was very tasty. We would definitely buy from here again
