Punter's Palace

The name of this place pretty much says it all – it is a gambling den and not a particularly good one at that. In fact you could easily describe this place as being a TAB with pokies and a bar, and the bar itself really don’t have anything all that fantastic to offer – the beer is, basically, rubbish. Don’t expect any craft beers here. In fact don’t expect any character here what so ever, and certainly don’t look for a fine dining experience, unless you consider packets of potato chips to be fine dining. Anyway, I’m not even sure why I have bothered to even consider writing a review of this place, particularly since it doesn’t even deserve, or be justified with one. Hey, I wouldn’t even recommend coming here for a flutter since the lack of character doesn’t even deserve that. Also, while they do have an outdoor area, it is more of a smokers cage than a beer garden, namely because a beer garden would suggest some form of class.
