Original Choreography, Performance, Fun and FitnessPure Funk have Dance Classes for Kids to Adults, in many styles, including Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, Popping, Breakdance, Lyrical, Latin Hip Hop, Pilates, Funk Fitness and many more. Classes are held at the new Pure Funk Dance Studios in Adelaide or at Latin Dance Nation in Unley. Students get to perform at our annual hiphop showcase & The advanced class students make up the Pure Funk performance Crew, who are available to perform at various events around adelaide. Choreographer Kirsten Semmler runs classes with her staff of experienced teachers. Kirsten has performed and studied all over Australia and overseas (London, Japan, New York, Los Angeles). Another year gone by and another end of year concert success. The kids had an awesome year of dancing and had so much fun being part of the
Pure Funk end of year dance concert again. Myself and my family who came to watch enjoyed it plenty again also. It's good seeing the kids enjoy themselves and having fun with what they are doing.
Attended the Pure Funk Dance end of year concert and it was fantastic! They did a wonderful show! The teachers and students did very well! My niece and nephew had so much fun and this first year of dancing has helped bring them already more confidence and happiness! Love it! Thank you Kirsten and team! Have a wonderful Christmas and new year and will see you for more dancing in 2014!

I used to take dance classes with Pure Funk Dance when I was younger but had to stop because of other commitments, wish I could have kept going though. Anyway, the younger generation has stepped in now- I've gotten my niece and nephew to take up hip hop classes and they are loving it! They have fun, learn dance moves and routines, make new friends and interact with a range of kids younger and older and at the end of the year they can join in in a school concert. Pure Funk has experienced, fun and friendly teachers and also wonderful beautiful owner. Definitely recommended.
