Q AND H Nails

Worst nail salon I have ever been to. I had a file, buff and shellac on my fingernails. The light in the salon is not that bright, so after I paid and looked at my nails in the light outside I realise how terrible they looked. The shellac did not go all the way to the base of some of my nails and on closer inspection, the sides were all uneven and ragged. To top it off, you could see the brush strokes. I went back in to tell them I wasn’t happy and wanted a refund because I didn’t have time to get them removed and redone. I was told that they didn’t know how to give me a refund to the card that I paid with. They also told me they didn’t have cash (a lie, as one of the technicians had just pulled out the cash tin). When I pointed that out they said they needed the cash to give people change when they pay with cash. Eventually they agreed to give me a cash refund. I would never recommend this salon or go back there myself.

Very disappointing! I read some of the bad reviews and consider you should give benefit of the doubt- well afraid to say on my visit my nails were done very rushed and with little care to the final result. He rushed the job so much that he injured two of my fingers, had one of his assistants crazily trying to file one hand while he tried to affix the other tips to my fingers. His assistant did the job so poorly that the nails on that hand were all wonky and filed much shorter than the instructions I provided him. You could tell he knew she did a terrible job and was telling her off in his language but still just carried on trying to finish the job as quickly as he could and he barely speaking to me even when I tried to strike up friendly conversation to improve his foul mood. Atrocious job. I have no idea where all these positive reviews are coming from, but they obviously didn't get their nails done by the four people who worked on mine. All of my nails are different shapes/lengths. When i told the guy i wanted to keep the same shape and length, he obviously thought that meant they didn't have to do anything to them. Every other manicure i've ever had has given them a tidy up. They have left my nails at odd lengths, i have oval, square and somewhere in between.
I got glitter french tips. There are bubbles all through the clear section and the glitter is also uneven. One of my thumbs wasn't even buffed down so it is quite rigid in the glitter section. I guess that's what happens when you have multiple people working on you, who clearly aren't communicating who has done what. Im super greatful for the work Quan and Mel and the girls do. These people are so talented in what they do. Not only do they provide fantastic service but they are so friendly and kind. Organic gel has been the best decision ive made! Well done for all your hard work and thankyou can't recommend you enough!!!!
