Went to Q scan twice in a fortnight for X-rays & ct scan. The first time I went, the staff got me to fill in forms at the desk, show my Medicare & Health care cards, then take a seat. I waited. And waited. Forty-five minutes later I asked them if it would be much longer as I had to get my kids from school. They asked me who I was, and did I have an appt or did I just walk in off the street? What the!?...Needless to say, I was not happy. They'd totally lost my paperwork & had no idea who I was or what I was there for. They realized their mistake & got the radiographer to take me in asap, kind & apologetic about the mix up. (But let me know it happens often.)
My second visit was uneventful thankfully.
I think this Q Scan site is in the middle of a reno, as there was plasterboard leaning against the wall. I just hope they replace the carpet too, it's disgusting & stained.
I'd be happier going to a different scan place next time.
