I have had a pretty hard time of it in recent years. Prolonged financial stress, patches of unemployment, bad investment decisions. Myles and his team have been with me all along. Supporting me and guiding me back to a place where I have resolved issues with my creditors and now have a smile on my face and hope for the future. I guess a lot of solicitors can review a legal issue and provide advice but they all don't care about the outcome.
I have been a client of Q Solicitors for longer than I care to remember. They have helped me buy 8 properties, undertaking conveyancing services as well as providing specialist legal advice on company structures and other matters. They have also helped me with a financial settlement. I consider Myles and his team as my trusted advisers. They always have my best interests at heart, are always available and go above and beyond my expectations. They are friendly, approachable and available. Not only are the good at what they do but they definitely provide value for money. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
My experience with Q Solcitors was not good. I was recommended here as I needed to settle a deal and have the documentation written up. I was initially given a costs estimate of $1500 to $2500+GST.
We progressed, and I asked for where we were up to in costs, they claimed $3000 to date. Then the next business day, I receive an invoice for $4502. They scrambled around to create an itemised bill when requested. I had to engage another lawyer to finish the job as it would have exploded up to $7000+.
The new solicitors found several serious omissions in the work as well as many spelling mistakes. You do not want to have to fight with your lawyers when times are tough.
Q Solicitors values every client and aims to deliver top quality legal advice that achieves the best possible outcome.
The process that we go through is different with each client and it is not always simple.
Sometimes what seems like a straight-forward issue in the first instance, can actually grow into a more complex problem... and this in turn will be reflected in the resources required and the methodology necessary to deliver a successful solution. In some instances it takes time to establish the client's real end objective, after which there is actually a rethink on the client's most-favoured outcome.
Clients are always guided and advised of their options through this process and assistance given to adopt the best course of action.
I am sorry you had this experience but surely there must be more to it. My experience with Q Solicitors doesn't reflect your comment at all. I do hope things worked out for you though.
